<p>PURPOSE:To determine the suitability of the above substance as a carrier for agricultural chemicals, by measuring two or more factors selected from the pore volume of hydrated silicic acid, oil absorption rate of the technical product of an agricultural chemical and retainability of the technical product. CONSTITUTION:The suitability of a hydrated silicic acid as a carrier for agricultural chemical is determined by measuring at least two factors selected from (A) the pore volume of hydrated silicic acid, (B) oil absorption rate of agricultural chemical and (C) retainability of agricultural chemical. For the factor A, it is important that the volume of pores having pore radius of 75-100Angstrom accounts for >=45% of the volume of pores having pore radius of 75-150Angstrom . A hydrated silicic acid satisfying the above pore radius distribution enables the increase of the compounding amount of the agricultural chemical and remarkably improves the retainability of the agricultural chemical in crushing. The oil absorption rate of the agricultural chemical is extremely excellent in a hydrated silicic acid containing >=0.6cc/g of pores having pore radius of 75-150Angstrom .</p> |
