<p>PURPOSE:To provide the title composition outstanding in flexural rigidity, free from urethane oozing in urethane foaming-in-place on the back surface, comprising a filler-free specific blend resin. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin composition free from filler, comprising (A) 60-90wt.% of polyethylene and (B) 10-40wt.% of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer containing 5-30wt.% of vinyl acetate. Backing with this composition will prevent a urethane raw material from instruction at the resultant backing layer or the base fabric layer, leading to no oozing of said urethane onto the carpet surface, thus obtaining carpets of good appearance and making the conventional gummed tape application for the urethane oozing prevention unnecessary, thereby enabling the productivity of automobile floor carpets to be significantly improved.</p> |
