<p>PURPOSE:To keep the atmospheric humidity in a storage low for more than specified hours even when there is any abnormality in the power source such as power failure by providing a humidity buffer member on the inner wall surface of a humidistatic chamber which is kept at low humidity by supplying a low-humidity gas from an external low-humidity gas generating means. CONSTITUTION:The humidity buffer member 36 consisting of a hygroscopic material such as natural zeolite 36a is provided on the side wall and ceiling of the humidistatic chamber 30. The low-humidity gas generated in the dehumidifying chambers 10 and 20 set on the outside of the humidistatic chamber 30 is ordinarily supplied to the chamber 30, and a material 50 to be held at low humidity in the chamber 30 and the buffer member 36 are held at low humidity. When there occurs any abnormality in the power source such as power failure or in the control system, the atmospheric gas in the chamber 30 is dehumidified by the natural zeolite 36a of the member 36, and the humidity in the chamber 30 is kept low for some time.</p> |
