PURPOSE:To detach a needle from a syringe main body without generating danger such that a hand is thrust by the needle after use, by mounting a fluid supply means and a bag body rising in internal pressure by the introduction of a fluid and expanding to cover the needle. CONSTITUTION:An injection needle protector is equipped with a fluid supply means 11 and a bag body 12 rising in internal pressure to expand and covering a needle. The needle base 2 of an injection needle 1 is engaged with the connecting projection of a syringe main body 6 to perform injection or blood- collecting work. Since the internal pressure of the bag body 12 rises when the injection needle 1 is pulled off from a human body and gas is supplied into the hag body 12 from a gas feeder 11, the bag body 12 expands. At this time, the bag body 12 is expanded so as to exceed the leading end part of the needle to cover the tip of said needle and, thereafter, the bag body 12 is slightly pulled or the gas is slightly discharged from the bag body to thrust the needle tip in the bag body 12 to cover the leading end of the needle 1 or to cover the needle with a part of the bag body 12. By this method, the needle is protected in a state surrounded by the bag body 12. The needle whose tip is protected and the bag body are separated from the syringe main body 6. |
