发明名称 REAL-TIME ESTIMATING DEVICE FOR REFLECTION CROSS SECTION
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To minimize an error by employing a reference detection distance constant based upon the elevation angle of a target such as the antenna pattern shape and radio wave propagation loss of a radar. CONSTITUTION:A correction data memory 1 is stored with the reference detec tion distance constant R which is set previously corresponding to the elevation angle phi, and the constant Rn is read out according to the elevation angle phiand supplied to a reflection cross section computing element 2. The distance R and signal intensity S/N of the target which are measured by the radar simul taneously with the elevation angle phi are supplied to the computing element 2. The computing element 2 calculate the reflection cross area sigma n of the target and supplies it to a smoothing computing element 3. Then the computing element 3 calculates the mean value, etc., of the area sigman obtained at each time of radar measurement and outputs smoothed reflection cross area sigma. Thus, the reflection cross area with a small error is obtained in real time.</p>
