PURPOSE:To collect a residual toner of a preceding copy into a developing device exactly and easily, by making a cleaning blade contact and separating it selectively to a drum, generating a toner lump, and collecting it immediately before an image is formed. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning blade 21 is placed between a toner image transfer part and a destaticizing lamp 2, and is provided so that it can be made to contact and be separated selectively to and from a photosensitive drum 1. When the blade 21 is made to contact to the drum 1 by a copy start signal, and is separated from the drum 1 by an electrostatic latent image formation end signal, a toner lump 22 is formed on the drum 1. It is carried to a developing device 8 and is collected immediately before an image is formed. Therefore, residual toner of the preceding copy can be collected exactly and easily. |
