PURPOSE:To remarkably increase expression amount in bacterial cell of TGF-alpha and simultaneously facilitate the purification of TGF-alpha, by adding an amino acid sequence for providing hydrophilic properties to the TGF-alpha to the C end of TGF-alpha. CONSTITUTION:When TGF-alpha which is a sort of tumor growth factor is produced at large amounts by genetic engineering means, an amino acid sequence for providing hydrophilic properties to TGF-alpha to the C-end of TGF-alpha. As the amino acid sequence, a sequence expressed by the formula is preferably adopted. The DNA sequence coding TGF-alpha derivative to which the above-mentioned amino acid sequence is added contains preferably domain coding an amino acid sequence containing all or part of protein of Escherichia coli at N-end of TGF-alpha. |
