TWISTED YARN WITH HIGH SPECIFIC GRAVITY FOR FISHING NET AND FISHING NET UTILIZING SAID TWISTED YARN

PURPOSE:To obtain the title fishing net, by winding a tape material with a certain width formed by providing a ferromagnetic powder layer on a substrate surface around a core material with a higher specific gravity than that of the tape material and using the resultant yarn with a high specific gravity as all or part of twisted yarn materials to impart a uniform weight in water to the whole net. CONSTITUTION:A filament yarn with a high specific gravity consisting of a material 2 for a magnetic tape with a constant width formed by providing a ferromagnetic powder layer on a substrate surface such as a biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate film and a core material 3 (e.g., lead wire) with a higher specific gravity than that of the tape material 2 is used as all or part of twisted yarn materials. Edges in the longitudinal direction of the tape material 2 are wound around the core material 3 to provide a filament yarn with a high specific gravity.
