PURPOSE:To eliminate such trouble as sticking or refuse settlement and obtain superior head matching property by providing a thermosensitive recording layer containing leuco dye and color developer on a support and adding a specific compound to an overcoat layer formed over the thermosensitive recording layer. CONSTITUTION:A thermosensitive recording layer containing leuco dye and color developer is provided on a support and an overcoat layer is formed over the thermosensitive recording layer. In a thermosensitive recording material of such a constitution, the compound expressed by a formula [I] is added to said overcoat layer. The specific types of the compound are bisphenol S diacrylate, etc. The does of the components of the overcoat layer is 20-70wt.% for the binder and 5-50wt.% for the compound expressed by the formula [I]. For the leuco dye, one type or a mixture of two or more are used, and the preferable type is, for instance, the leuco compound of triphenyl methane dye. Further, for the color developer, various types of electron-acceptive compounds, e.g. phenol compounds are employed. |
