PURPOSE:To compensate the time difference between a reproducing signal and time cord data by making the position of a reproducing head for an information signal the same as or precedent to the position of a recording head for it and making the position of a recording head for the time code data precedent to the position of a reproducing head for them. CONSTITUTION:A recording head 1 and a reproducing head 2 to record and reproduce the information signal to a tape 101 are arranged on a rotary drum 3b and the position of the reproducing head 2 is set in a position the same as or precedent to the position of the recording head 1 in a transfer direction (t) of the tape 101. A time code recording head 4 to write the time code data related to the data of recording and reproducing onto the tape 101 is set in a position precedent to the position of a time code reproducing head 5 to read out the time code data. Thus, the time difference between the reproducing signal based on the information signal and the reproducing of the time code data can be compensated. |
