PURPOSE:To polish uniformly the machining plane of a workpiece by saving a plural time of screw motions as a batch and receiving the saved data all at once for read operation and thereby making the shift of an arm continuous. CONSTITUTION:Two circles of different diameter are made to reach positions opposite to each other on a coordinate axis provided in the advance direction of a cup type grindstone J, thereby forming the route of a screw motion. When the grindstone J fitted to a rotational axis I at the tip of an arm E is made to contact and rotate on the route of the screw motion for polishing a curved plane and the like, the preparation of basic data and a route operation are separated from each other for the route instruction of the screw motion, and the memory part F of the basic data is made to intervene between the aforesaid preparation and operation. According to the aforesaid construction, a plural time of the screw motions are saved as a batch and the saved data is received all at once, thereby implementing a read and operation process and making the arm E of a robot mechanism to shift continuously. As a result, it becomes possible to uniformly polish an irregular machining plane without any deep cutting due to the interruption of an arm operation. |
