<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title apparatus excellent in response, by transmitting the rotation of a motor to a reel only when a signal cable is rolled in and performing the taking-up and delivery of the signal cable through a friction mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A measuring probe 14 is mounted on the carriage 18 freely slidable along a guide pipe 20 by the belt 24 provided between pulleys 22-1, 22-2 under tension. When the carriage 18 is moved in the direction shows by an arrow A by a motor 26, the first friction plate 40 is rotated through an one-way clutch 32 and a take-up reel 12 is rotated in a direction rolling in a signal cable 10. Since the speed of the leading end of the signal cable 10 is set so as to be higher than the roll-in speed of the take-up reel 12, the signal cable 10 is taken up while the definite tension corresponding to the friction force of the friction plate 40 and the reel 20 is held. When the carriage 18 is moved in the direction shown by an arrow B, the one-way clutch 32 is turned OFF and the reel 12 is rotated against the friction force with the second fixed friction plate 46. Whereupon, the signal cable is drawn out while definite tension is held.</p> |
