摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To provide a power control system so as to follow the variation of a power setting value at a high response speed by quickly operating a heating unit at a power level different from a corresponding level of the power setting value when a detection temperature is out of a reference temperature range. CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensor for measuring a temperature of a cooking glass ceramic plate 12 is provided as four pairs of precious metal strips 30 on a lower surface of the plate 12. A glass ceramic material in a gap 32 between strips develops resistance to change its resistance value as a function of temperature. When the temperature sensor detects a temperature outside of a reference temperature range to be set by operating a keyboard 28, a microprocessor of a power control system 26 executes a prescribed routine of a control program. Thus, if a low temperature is detected, the level of supplied power to a unit 12 is controlled to increase, and if a high temperature is detected, this power level is controlled to decrease. This can overdrive or underdrive a unit to be operated within the reference temperature range.</p>
