The dispenser comprises a box having a casing 14 with a dispensing opening 140 and provided with a means intended to support two rolls 11a, 11b consisting of a strip of material rolled around a mandrel 19a, 19b cut longitudinally or transversely, the first being in use and the other held in reserve by means 12 of closing off part of the dispensing opening 140, characterised in that the means intended to support the rolls consists of fixed pins 1410, 1411, integral with the casing 14, the means 12 of closing off part of the dispensing opening 140 consist of a slide made to move in alignment with the opening in the casing when this slide is unlocked by means 13 of detecting that the first roll has been used up. <IMAGE>
