Prepn. of the surface-treated perlite-filled polypropylene comprises the steps of (A) surface-treatment of perlite comprising a mixing benzoil peroxide as radical initiator dissolved in acrylic acid as a monomer in a mixer, and adsorbing a filler to the perlite by extruding from the upstream of the mixer and adsorbing acrylic acid to perlite by placing at r.t., then polymerizing by elevating temp. and sufficiently rotating the mixer; (B) grafting of polyacrylic acid and polypropylene by more addition of the benzoil peroxide small amt. when compounding the surface-treated perlite and polypropylene metrix.
