PURPOSE:To calculate the coordinate values of the vertexes of a rectangular prallelepiped and to easily and rapidly obtain the area designation of the rectangular parallelepiped by drawing the polyhedral drawings of three-dimensional drawing object, displaying a cross cursor on the polyhedral drawings, using the cross cursor, designating the position of the arbitrary rectangular parallelepiped for the polyhedral drawings, calculating the coordinate value of the designated position and specifying the rectangular parallelepiped. CONSTITUTION:When an execution key on a keyboard is pushed, a rectangular parallelepiped area analyzing part stores the cross intersection position of a cross cursor CS at the time of pushing an NL key as the vertex position of the rectangular parallelepiped, outputs a borderline drawing command to a graphic display control part and the borderlines BL and BL' of the rectangular parallelepiped are drawing on the polyhedral drawing. Next, a cusor shift key is operated and the intersection of the cross cursor CS is positioned at a point P3' on a plan PLV. After that, when the NL key is pushed, the cross intersection position P3' of the cross cursor CS is stored as the vertex position, the coordinate values of vertexes P2' and P4' are calculated from the coordinate value of a vertex P1' and the coordinate value of the vertex P3' and a graphic display control part is made to draw the borderlines. |
