PURPOSE:To eliminate the accumulation of aberration due to step-out by resetting almost periodically a member which is positioned by means of a step motor in a reference position. CONSTITUTION:The supply oil quantity of a metering pump 1 is controlled by the step motor 2. An electronic controller 31 operates the command control position of a screen shaft 21 which gives an optimum lubricating oil discharge quantity based on signals from various operation state sensors of a sensor for quantity of engine rotation 33, an accel. divergence sensor 34, a cooling water temperature sensor 35 and the like, and controller 31 outputs driving pulse to a driving circuit 32 for realizing the command control position which successively changes. The electronic controller 31 moves the screw shaft 21 in the command control position to a backspace edge, makes the edge of the shaft to abut on the abutting part 25 of a housing 24 so as to execute an action for resetting the shaft in the reference position. When it once rests to the reference position, it is immediately caused to return to the command control position with setting the position as reference and resumes control corresponding to a successive operation state. |
