PURPOSE:To obtain the title work transfer device capable of performing the changing work of a die quickly and simply without the interference of the work transfer device at die changing time by providing a common beam, feeding beam, common beam supporting member and common beam feeding mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A common beam 21 is supported by a common beam supporting member 23 at the taking out side of dies 27, 28 and made to perform a recipro cating movement in the common beam longitudinal direction by a common beam feeding mechanism 24. A work is carried in and out of the dies 27, 28 by the feeding beam 22 fitted to the beam 21 with this reciprocating movement. The work carrying in and out can automatically be done to the dies 27, 28 of a press device by synchronizing these work transfer operation with the die moving operation of the press device. On the other hand, the beam 21 is ar ranged at the position higher than the die upper end at the die changing time and the member 23 is arranged at the position evading the die movement route of die changing time. Consequently, the work transfer device is kept out of the way at the die changing time even if the work transfer device is arranged at the die taking out side. |
