<p>PURPOSE:To permit one process to make a request to the other process for a processing by providing a logical window at every process which consists a client side and providing a physical window in an input/output device which consists a server side in a window system. CONSTITUTION:It is assumed that the process 8 of a client 4a makes a request to the other client, a client 4b, for example, for a partial processing. Since the header 12 of transmission data D is generated from an opposite window name (logical window name of the client 4b) and a self window name (the logical window name of the client 4a), transmission data D transmitted from the client 4a is supplied to the client 4b through a data communication part 3 and processed. When data processing terminates, transmission data D is generated from the processing result in the client 4b and is transmitted to the data communication part.</p> |
