PURPOSE:To lessen scraps of sheet and at the same time obtain a sheet having a bandlike colored part the boundary line of which is curved one, by a method wherein the discharge die of synthetic resin material is moved in the direction nearly normal to the moving direction of continuous base in cast molding. CONSTITUTION:Synthetic resin material 12 is fed from a discharge die 11, which has a string-like outlet extending nearly normal to the moving direction on a continuously moving continuous base 10. The synthetic resin material 12 is cast on the continuous base and, after that, cured into a flat continuous sheet 13. While being continuously or intermittently reciprocated, the discharge die 11 feeds the synthetic resin material. For example, when the discharge die 11 is moved in simple harmonic motion with respect to the continuous base, which moves at constant speed, the obtained sheet is a continuous sheet with sinusoidal curves. Further, by changing the speed of reciprocating motion of the discharge die 11, the curvature of the curve can be changed. Furthermore, by stopping the discharge die 11 temporarily or by changing the speed of its reciprocating motion in the midway of a process, continuous sheets having various forms can be provided. |
