The invention relates to a wheel bearing arrangement in which the wheel hub is rotatably received on the axle pin of a wheel axle by means of a wheel bearing which is constructed as a double tapered roller bearing and has at least one outer ring and at least one inner ring between which the bearing rollers are arranged and which are held between stop shoulders of the wheel hub and/or the wheel axle and/or an axle nut and/or by components which are fixed thereon in an axially non-displaceable fashion. So that it is possible to provide adjustment without play by tensioning using simple components, there is provision according to the invention for the outer ring or the outer rings and the inner rings to be combined to form a compact bearing which is held in a non-displaceable fashion at the end of the axle pin, for the pairs of bearing rollers to run on two separate inner rings which can be displaced axially with respect to one another, the ring which is axially on the inside being supported axially on the inside on a shoulder of the wheel axle and the axially outer inner ring being supported axially on the outside on the axle nut.
