PURPOSE:To eliminate musical unnaturalness by making the tempo value which changes the 1st playing condition different from the tempo value which changes the 2nd playing condition. CONSTITUTION:When a set tempo is changed in one direction by means of tempo adjusting switches 18 and 20, the 1st playing condition is changed when the tempo crosses a tempo value and at the same time, the 2nd playing condition which is different in kind from the 1st playing condition is also changed when the tempo cross another tempo value. Therefore, different kinds of playing conditions (for example, playing pattern and tone quality, playing patterns, a tone quality and effect, etc.) are not changed simultaneously when the tempo crosses a tempo value and as a result, musical unnaturalness can be eliminated. Moreover, when a tempo is set within a tempo range from a tempo value to another tempo value, a natural musical performance of a playing condition which is different from the playing conditions of the tempo ranges on both sides of the set tempo range can be enjoyed. |
