PURPOSE:To lessen thoroughly resistance of a common electrode without thickening a thickness of a conductor film of the common electrode and, besides, to achieve reduction of a cost by making a manufacturing process easy, by a method wherein an electrode wiring of a heating resistor is formed by a return electrode type, and a plurality of common electrode terminals are pulled out. CONSTITUTION:A heating resistor array 2 given in a network is formed on an insulating substrate 1, and each heating resistor therein is divided into two parts. A discrete electrode 3 and a return electrode 8 are so established as to be connected in series. Then, the individual electrode 3 is connected to a driving IC4 by bonding or the like, and all the return electrodes 8 are collected to be commonly connected to a common electrode 5. Further, the common electrode terminal 6ai (i=1-7) corresponds to each driving IC to be established between the driving ICs 4. Resistance of this common electrode at all the terminals, even in the case where a thickness of a conductor film formed by, for instance, Al is about 1-2mum, can be made to about 0.2OMEGA level. |
