Shown and described is a grooved block which is intended for an associated C-profile rail (4) and is provided with in each case one threaded bore for a fixing screw and a mounting screw. In order to simplify mounting, the grooved block (1) has, in cross-section, an approximately T-shaped or mushroom-shaped profile and it can be hooked, from the front side, into the C-profile rail (4) by means of its head part (2). <IMAGE>
