Conc. non-phosphate detergent compsn. rapidly soluble in cold water, comprises (by wt.): (a) 10-50% nonionic surfactant(s); (b) 5-70% water-insoluble non-phosphate builder(s); (c) 0-70% water-soluble non-phosphate builder(s); where the ratio (b+c): a is at least 1.0, and the ratio b:a is below 2.0. The surfactant is pref. an opt. branded, prim. or sec. ave. 6-16C alcohol ethoxylated with 2-10 moles ethylene oxide or ethoxylated-propoxylated with 1-10 moles ethylene oxide and 1-10 moles propylene oxide; opt. branched alkylphenoxy polyethoxy alcohol of ave. chain length 8-16C and ave. 1.5-30 moles ethylene oxide, and corresp. ethoxylated-propoxylated derivs. contg. 1-10 moles each of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide; or mixts. of these. |
