PURPOSE:To stabilize a latent image without causing deterioration of photographic sensitivity nor increase of fog by incorporating a specified compd. into a silver halide photographic sensitive material compsn. CONSTITUTION:An amt. of N-aryl-substituted tellurazolium salt compd. expressed by formula I necessary for stabilizing a latent image is incorporated into a silver halide photographic sensitive material compsn. In formula I, each R1-R7 is an H atom., or a photography suitable substituent, individually; X<-> is an anion. Said photography suitable substitution is known in the prior art, and selected basing on several conventional standards. By this constitution, a silver halide photographic sensitive material having superior stability of latent image is obtd. without impairing the developing characteristic of the silver halide emulsion significantly, particularly, generation of fog against the lapse of time or pressure marks is prevented and satisfactory stabilizing effect for latent images is obtd. |
