In examples a compound obtained by reacting 1,1 -dihydro-perfluoro-octanol-(1) with toluene diisocyanate is further reacted with polyethylene glycols having molecular weights of 200 and 400. The above compounds may be used to emulsify water-insoluble fluorine containing compounds and also to impart oil- and water-repellency and soil release properties to textiles.
