PURPOSE:To generate a high quality paint out pattern at high speed by performing paint out processing by logical-operating the stored contents of the contour of the character, and graphic of the same line to be read out at every required number of dots and a basic paint out pattern. CONSTITUTION:The paint out pattern information of 8-bits, etc., stored in a memory 11 from a control part 18 is loaded in a register 15 through an input buffer 12. On the other hand, data which comes to be a true value or a false value according to whether a paint out pattern owing to the exclusive logical processing of the paint out patter information of 8-bits, etc., of the same line read out of the memory 11 and the contour information of the character and graphic, etc., is inside the contour or not, is loaded in the register 13. The contents of the register 15 is outputted through an AND circuit 6 controlled by the contents of the register 13. Accordingly, the paint out processing is not processed by one dot unit as always being conscious of a paint out range, but is performed by 8-bits unit, etc., and the high speed generation of the high quality paint out pattern can be performed. |
