PURPOSE:To reduce a processing cost, to improve stability of a concentrate developer, and to improve also preservability of picture images of processed color photographic sensitive material by incorporating benzyl alcohol and an aromatic primary amine type color developing agent into the title compsn., and adjusting the pH of the concentrated developer to 1-4. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide color photographic sensitive material is processed with a concentrated developer compsn. contg. 90ml/liter-500ml/liter benzyl alcohol and 0.07mol./liter-0.4mol./liter aromatic primary amine type color developing agent, and having 1-4pH. Benzyl alcohol and said developing agent may be difficultly soluble if the concns. thereof are higher beyond a range described above. Even if they are dissolved, the amt. of formed compd. becomes too much. If the concns. of the benzyl alcohol and the developing agent are lower below the above described range, convenience in handling may be reduced in spite of only little advantage resulted in the cost. Thus, a concentrated compsn. of a developer having improved preservability for picture images of processed color photographic sensitive material and having high stability is obtd. inexpensively. |
