Closure for an injection bottle having an elastic stopper piercable by a hypodermic needle and a cap with a tear-off element holding the stopper on the bottle neck. The cap is made of plastic and is provided with a perforation delimiting a lid piece on the upper side of the cap. The cap is expediently provided with a bottle roll rim which fixes the stopper and is independent of the lid piece and the perforation delimiting it.
