PURPOSE:To stop a radio wave of a waveguide mode propagating a space of an amplifier case and to prevent the oscillation of the amplifier by forming a cross section of the amplifier case perpendicular to the propagation direction of a microwave is nearly rectangle and providing a square waving shape to at least one face of the short side of the rectangle periodically in the propagating direction of the microwave. CONSTITUTION:A microwave base 3A comprising a solid-state amplifier element 1 and a dielectric and provided with a microstrip line 4 on them is accommodated in the amplifier case 2A while being arranged in series alternately. The side wall width of the amplifier case 2A is made narrow periodically by a square projection at the arrangement part of the microwave base 3A. Through the adoption of the periodic structure of the projection and recess as above, a band elimination characteristic is provided to block a desired frequency band to stop the oscillation of the microwave amplifier by the spatial propagation of a radio wave. |
