The device comprises an upper part (2) to be fixed to the slider of the press and a lower part (1) to be fixed to its basis. The lower part (1) is equipped with a rack rod (4) and the upper part (2) is equipped with a mandrel (9) having a threading tap (10) and a gear transmission system which translates, by way of the said rack rod (4), the alternate motion of the slider of the press into a rotary motion of the mandrel (9), the rack rod (4) being coupled to the lower part (1) via a joint (23) adapted to allow, in axial direction, small elastic shiftings of rod (4) around one of its balance positions. |
