摘要 A method for producing an optical sample beam pick up for a device for contactless optical distance measurement in accordance with the principle of triangulation, comprising a receiving head which exhibits the sample beam pick up with a single-curvature or double-curvature receiving surface. A plurality of optical fibres in the form of glass fibres and/or plastic fibres arranged adjacently in an optical-fibre bundle open in the receiving area with an axis orthogonal to the receiving area and end face orthogonal to the axis. The mutually parallel optical fibres are embedded in accordance with their arrangement in the optical-fibre bundle in a plane embedment plate orthogonally to their axis, in which plate the end faces of the optical fibres are exposed and/or from the free surface of which the ends of the optical fibres protrude. The free surface of the embedment plate is ground and polished orthogonally to the axis of the optical fibres, during which process the end faces of the optical fibres are ground and polished. Thereafter, the embedment plate is deformed in such a manner that the ground and polished surface of the embedment plate coincides with the receiving surface. <IMAGE>
