The invention proposes a novel pair of socks or stockings which permits connecting together of the two individual items in a suitable manner during the washing and drying operation. This is achieved in that the two individual items have, at a suitable point, devices, for example in each case a cloth strip, to which there is fastened in each case one half of a press stud, using which the two individual items are connected by means of the said press stud immediately after removal and thus remain connected in a sorted manner during the washing and drying operation.
