<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a tape guide drum device superior in compatibility and having a guide part with its good levelness by fixing the lower drum at positions linearly symmetric against a center line of a contact angle of a magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:A screw 7 is fixed up in a point D and a point E respectively to make a linear symmetry against the center line of the contact angle within its angle. When fitting legs of a fitting base are assumed as a continuous form, a locus of guide parts and their virtual extension line is as shown in a continuous line having three wave crests, and when they are formed separately, only these distances between A and E and between E and B are formed in a downward wave, while the guide parts as shown by a dimension line theta is approximately linearized. Thus, by fixing the drum in such symmetrical positions, even when the fitting surface has an error, no torsional deformation takes place at all. By this method, the stable tape traveling is achieved, thus obtaining recording tracks of superior linearity and compatibility.</p> |
