<p>PURPOSE:To avoid erroneous explosion and detonate the warhead at a relative position at which the effect of the warhead is always maximum by estimating the size of a target and detecting the distance of approach of a flying body to the target by the magnitude of the received electric power, that is the size of the target to detect the speed of approach and adjust the timing of generating a detonation signal. CONSTITUTION:It the performances of a main antenna 1, transmitter 2, and Doppler receiver 4 are known, the distance detected by a distance detection circuit 10 and the strength of the received electric power can estimate the size of a target. Beforehand the estimation calculation of received electric power for the size of the target is made and the estimated received electric power is compared with the received electric power by the Doppler receiver 4 to estimate the size of the target. When the distance from a flying body to the target approaches a specified one, it is judged that the target is in a certain distance by a judgement circuit 11 providing that a specified received electric power according to the size of the target is received from the Doppler receiver 4, and an action instruction signal is sent to a detonation adjustment circuit 12. In the detonation adjustment circuit 12 it adjusts a specified delay time based on the approach speed signal from the Doppler receiver 4 and generates the detonation signal and it is sent to an electric fuse 9.</p> |
