<p>PURPOSE: To reduce re-expansion volume of discharge ports communicated via a valve plate by providing a means with one end fixed to a yoke member and the other end abutting a radial outer side surface of a piston, for guiding and retaining a valve member. CONSTITUTION: A suction valve assembly 114 is formed by a circular plate- shaped suction valve 116. The valve 116 has an annular closing portion 119. In the closing position thereof, the suction valve 116 covers suction ports 112 with an outer top surface 118 of a piston member 108. The suction valve 116 is mounted on the periphery of a guide member such as a cylindrical spacer 120, i.e., received the spacer 120 is received in an opening 115. During operation, the valve 116 moves and rides along the spacer 120 and is limited in the stroke with respect to the opening position by a valve retainer such as a washer 122. The suction valve 116 and spacer 120 are fixed to the top surface 118 of the piston member 108 by a longitudinal threaded bolt 124.</p> |
