PURPOSE:To easily make a connection and to make the multiconnector compact by forming a specific number of stepped holes and fitting light emitting and receiving elements to large-diameter ends of the stepped holes while fitting sleeves for optical cables to small-diameter ends, and using a light emitting and receiving element holder which has grooves for storing the bent parts of the sleeve holders at both edges. CONSTITUTION:Pins of light emission components 10 such as light emitting diodes are set in spacers 9, the light emission components 10 are fitted together in the large- diameter ends of through holes of the light emission component holder 1, and both end parts of a base member 3 are fixed to the light emission component holder 1 with screws 8. Reinforcement tubes 5 for the optical cables are inserted into slits of the sleeve holder 2, and the tip small-diameter parts of the sleeves 4 are fitted in the small-diameter ends of the through holes of the light emission component holder 1. Then, the bent parts at both ends of the sleeve holder 2 are slid into the grooves at both ends of the light emission component holder 1 and the sleeve holder 2 is fixed to the light emission component holder 1 with the screws 8. Thus, the light emission parts of the light emission components 10 are coupled with the end surfaces of optical fiber element wires 6. |
