PURPOSE:To obtain the present composition showing excellently herbicidal activity against annual weeds and perennial weeds in paddy fields and safety to paddy rice plants, by combining 3-(3,5-dichlorophenoxy)-1,1-(1-ethyl) pentamethylene urea with dimuron. CONSTITUTION:A herbicide composition obtained by combining 3-(3,5- dichlorophenoxy)-1,1-(1-ethyl)pentamethylene urea shown by formula I with dimuron shown by formula II, namely 3-(2-phenylisopropyl)-1-(paratolyl)urea in the weight ratio of preferably 1:0.1-10. By this method, herbicidal effects of the compound shown by formula I and the compound shown by formula II are not reduced and phytotoxicity of the compound shown by formula I can be selectively and extremely lessened even if the composition is used under conditions wherein phytotoxicity of the compound shown by formula I to paddy rice plants is unavoidable. |
