PURPOSE:To obtain a developer compsn. contg. a toner which is electrostatically charged positive when used for development of an electrostatic latent image by using ferrite particles coated with a coating agent contg. a vinylidene fluoride copolymer as the carrier of the developer compsn. consisting of the dry process toner and using a toner contg. a charge control agent of a quaternary ammonium salt type as the toner. CONSTITUTION:The developer compsn. is constituted of the magnetic carrier and the toner and the ferrite particles coated with the coating agent contg. the vinylidene fluoride copolymer is used as the carrier. The toner is prepd. by incorporating the charge control agent of the quaternary ammonium salt which consists of the compd. expressed by the formula and is incorporated in the binder resin at 0.1-10pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. resin into said binder. In the formula, R1, R2 respectively denote a hydrogen atom, substd. or unsubst. alkyl group, substd. or unsubstd. aryl group, substd. or unsubstd. cycloalkyl group; X<-> denotes anion. |
