PURPOSE:To suppress the offset of toner without oxidizing a releasing agent thermally by holding the releasing agent which contains an oxidation inhibitor in a releasing agent coating device. CONSTITUTION:A releasing agent coating member 4 is formed by incorporating silicone oil as the releasing agent containing the oxidation inhibitor in fluororesin which is made porous. When a heat roller 1 is heated, the member 4 is also heated and the silicone oil oozes and is supplied to the heat roller 1. Excessive silicone oil is wiped by a cleaning blade 5 to form a thin film of silicone oil on the surface of the roller 1. When a form P passes between a couple of fixing rollers 1 and 3, part of the silicone oil sticks on the form P. The oxidation inhibitor prevent the silicone oil on the heat roller 1 from oxidizing to prevent the separation of the heat roller 1 from deteriorating. |
