PURPOSE: To obtain the subject tablet containing granules comprising finely powdered calcium citrate having a specific particle diameter, a sweetener and a lubricant and having a bulk density in a specific range, improved in palatability and improved in biological calcium utilization ability. CONSTITUTION: This calcium citrate tablet contains granules comprising (A) finely powdered calcium citrate having a particle diameter of 0.1-10μm, preferably 0.1-3μm, (B) a sweetener such as sucrose, glucose, mannose, saccharin, a dipeptide sweetener, and (C) a lubricant such as a stearate (especially magnesium stearate), talc or polyethylene glycol, and having a bulk density of 0.3-1.5g/ml, preferably 0.5-1.0g/ml. The components A, B and C are compounded in amounts of 25-90wt.%, 10-60wt.% and 0.1-5wt.%, especially 0.5-2wt.%, respectively.
