A packing comprising two joined-together parts 18,21. The one 21 of the parts is a closed frame made from cardboard or equivalent and the other part 18 is flexible in nature. The frame has a profile which is closed off by a first outer part, for example a flange or end edge, and a second outer part, for example a flange or end edge. The profile is not rectilinear between the said outer parts and, viewed in the peripheral direction of the frame, it has portions extending outwards and inwards relative to the packing. Transitions 22-25 between the said portions are placed at the corners and the flexible part is fastened to at least so many parts of the frame that deformation of the latter, viewed in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the frame, is prevented by the flexible part. <IMAGE> |
