<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the opening operation of a cassette lid by turning a turning member so as to engage with the cassette lid of a tape cassette in a cassette holder. CONSTITUTION:When the cassette holder 2 is pressed down in the direction of an arrow A after the tape cassette 1 is completely housed into the cassette holder, an arm member 4 integrated with the cassette holder 2 is started to turn around a holder shaft 6. In synchronization with this operation, a rotary opening member 10 is turned by abutting its guide part 10a against one edge surface 4a of the arm member 4. Then, one end surface 10b of the rotary opening member 10 is brought into contact with a front panel edge 1b of the cassette lid 1a, and hence the rotary opening member 10 is turned until the cassette lid 1a is opened up at the largest opening angle, and then the cassette holder 2 is engaged with an engagement part of a recording and reproducing device main body 8. By this method, the cassette lid can easily be opened without providing any guide part to the cassette holder.</p> |
