PURPOSE: To simplify assembling by arranging a plurality of unitary centrifugal fly-weight members directly engageable with plastic sleeves in a driven clutch member respectively. CONSTITUTION: When an engine is ignited and automatic running is started, a starting gear 22 drives a pinion gear 26 at a speed far faster than that of a power shaft 12. As dentil gears 34, 36 are slipped, a starting motor is not driven by high engine speed. Centrifugal fly-weight members 58 are driven radially outwardly by the high speed rotation of a driven clutch member 30. The outer side movement of the centrifugal fly-weight members 58 compresses an annular thrust washer 54 to the left side, opposite to the biasing force of a resilient spring member 50. Thus a driving clutch member 20 and the driven clutch member 30 is separated. The plurality of centrifugal fly-weight members 58 are engaged in recesses which are spaced apart, of a fly-weight retainer 55. |
