PURPOSE:To enhance volumetric efficiency with no generation of noise and vibration by providing superconducting coils in the vicinity of a suction pipe of a compressor and a pair of electrodes, connected to a DC power source, in a position corresponding to these superconducting coils. CONSTITUTION:A pair of superconducting coils 18, 19 are provided in the vicinity of a suction pipe 15, and electrodes 20, 21, connected to a voltage controllable DC power source 22, are provided in a position crossing at a right angle with the paired superconducting coils 18, 19 in the suction pipe 15. In this way, Lorentz's force acts on a flow of refrigerant in the suction pipe 15, further by controlling a level of this Lorentz's force, because a compressor can be provided with a supercharge effect by controlling the flow of refrigerant, the compressor of low noise and low vibration with high volumetric efficiency can be obtained in whatever condition of compression ratio and rotary speed it may be placed. |
