PURPOSE:To reduce assembly man-hour by bending protruded parts formed in metal plates faced to an exhausted valve which blocks a vent installed in a frame to stop the exhaust valve. CONSTITUTION:The protruded parts 7 each of which is installed in a part in the upper part, facing a cap-like rubber valve 4, of a metal plate 6 having a synthetic resin layer in its inside are bent inward. A pipe-shaped vent 3 is installed in the center of a recess 2 installed in the upper central part of a synthetic resin frame 1, and covered with the rubber valve 4. The protruded parts 7 bent inward are positioned above the rubber valve 4. Even if the rubber valve 4 rises along the vent 3 by increase in internal pressure in a battery, it is stopped by the protruded parts 7 to prevent its coming off. The protruded parts are bent after the rubber valve 4 is fitted. The assembly man-hour is remarkably reduced. |
