<p>PURPOSE:To realize the accurate input of pictures with the handwriting field by putting a touch panel of high image resolution on the screen of a display device and at the same time converting the finger touch positions on the touch panel into the X and Y coordinates to display the characters and patterns on a CRT based on the coordinate signals. CONSTITUTION:A touch panel 1 of high image resolution which supplies the characters and patterns drawn by fingers as the picture information is put on the screen of a display device and at the same time the finger touch positions on the panel 1 are converted into the X and Y coordinates by a coordinate detector 2. While a CPU displays the characters and patterns drawn on the panel 1 on a CRT display device 3 based on the coordinate signals. Thus the screen state, etc., are selected through the menu screen of the device 3 and the desired illustrations, characters, etc., are drawn by tracing on the picture input/output screen by fingers, etc. In such a way, the illustrations, characters, etc., are displayed as the pictures along the loci of fingers as if they were actually drawn with use of a writing tool.</p> |
