POLYARYLENE ESTER RESIN COMPOSITION.

A polyarylene ester resin composition which comprises: (A) 60 to 99 wt % of polyarylene ester; and (B) 40 to 1 wt % of ethylene copolymer composed of 50 to 90 wt % of ethylene, 5 to 49 wt % of alpha , beta -unsaturated carboxylic acid alkyl ester, and 0.5 to 10wt % of maleic anhydride, is disclosed. This composition has markedly improved notch independence of impact strength without decreasing good heat deformation propreties of polyarylene ester, and is useful as engineering plastics for use in electronic components, automobile parts, office automation appliance parts, etc. wherein reduction in thickness and size is required.
