PURPOSE:To perform accurate engine control by setting controlled variable for high octane value when it is deviated from the first zone in the case where engine controlled variable is set for average octane value in the first zone where knocking and miss decision are subject to occur. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 12 inputs the signals of a hot-wire air flow meter 7, turning angle sensor 14 and knocking sensor 10 therein, and when knocking of predetermined value or more is detected in the first zone B where the knocking detected by a zone detecting means 121 and miss-decision are subject to occur, engine controlled variable is set for average octane value by a first zone engine control setting means 122. After that, when the fact that the controlled variable is deviated from the first zone is detected, an engine control setting means 123 for zones other than the first zone sets engine controlled variable for high octane value. A fixing means 124 for setting engine control in the second zone sets controlled variable for average octane value, if knocking of the predetermined value or more is detected in the state that it is the second zone A. Thus, highly accurate engine control can be performed. |
